(one, two)
Yesterday I watched Gaslight, an old movie about a husband who tries to drive his wife mentally ill so that he can gain custody of valuable jewels she has in her possession. He'd give her things to put in her purse, then he'd take them out when she wasn't looking so that she would think she lost them. He'd go in the attic (when she thought he went out for a walk) and make noises to make it seem like she was hearing things, etc etc. And you know what the crazy part is? It didn't take much for him to make her think she was losing her mind. And it just made me think of how fragile the human mind actually is. And it wouldn't take much to make someone think they're crazy. Anyway, I don't know why I brought this up, I just thought it was interesting and I guess that is all.
