the secret garden.

"One of the strange things about living in the world is that it is only now and then one is quite sure one is going to live forever and ever and ever.

One knows it sometimes when one gets up at the tender solemn dawn-time and goes out and stands alone and throws one's head far back and looks up and up and watches the pale sky slowly changing

and flushing and marvelous unknown things happening until the east almost makes one cry out

and one's heart stands still at the strange unchanging majesty of the rising of the sun-which has been happening every morning for thousands and thousands and thousands of years.

One knows it then for a moment or so...and it was like that with Colin when he first saw and heard and felt the springtime inside the four high walls of a hidden garden."

"A garden. I've stolen a garden. But it may already be dead, I don't know.

I'll know.

Promise you won't tell anyone

Promise.

No one?

Not a soul."

"I hate the way you talk about dying.

Everyone thinks I'll die.

If everyone thought that about me, I wouldn't do it."

I have recently discovered the most beautiful blog, Darjeeling Dreams, who also happens to make some of the best Polyvore sets. Something this beautiful has to be featured. Here are just a few of her gems:

I also found a new photographer, Olivia Bee. Most of you have probably heard of her. I find the personality of her photos very much like Eleanor Harwick, who I posted about two posts ago. I've actually heard of her, but never checked out her photos, until this past weekend. They are so dreamy and absolutely magical. What gave me even more of a heart attack than how beautiful the quality of the photos were was that she is only 14! And I thought Eleanor was young! Olivia's even younger! I don't know about you guys, but that just amazes me so much!

Speaking of Olivia Bee and photography and Eleanor Hardwick, Eleanor is having an exhibition of her photography February 5th to March 9th in Bristol, UK. If any of you live around there I strongly encourage you to go. If you want to see some of her photos, here is her flickr. I so, so want to go, but alas, I don't live anywhere near there.

Also, there's a certain someone that wants to say hello!

It's Aubrey!
I wonder what she is daydreaming about...
And now she's back to her usual crazy self.
Oh Aubs.

*Sorry for the fuzzy quality of the photos-I took them with my phone.
