Quisiera
Armar en estos
días
Un árbol dentro de mi
Corazón
Y colgar en lugar de regalos
Los nombres
De todos mis amigos. Los de cerca
Y los de lejos. Los de siempre y los de
Ahora.
Los que veo cada día, y los que raramente
Encuentro,
Los de siempre recordados, y los que a veces se me
Olvidan
Los constantes y los inconstantes. Los de las horas
Difíciles, y los de las horas alegres. A los que sin querer
Herí, sin querer me hirieron. Aquellos a quienes conozco
Esperanza
Poniendo un poco
De felicidad en aquellos
Que todo lo han perdido

journeys.

What is a journey?
A journey is not a trip.
It's not a vacation.
It's a process. A discovery.
It's a process of self-discovery.
A journey brings us face to face with ourselves.
A journey shows us not only the world,
But how we fit in it.
Does the person create the journey,
Or does the journey create the person?
The journey is life itself.
Where will life take you?

Firstly, I would like to make a HUGE apology to Hita, whom gave me the award in the previous post. I spelled her name Hila, when it's actually Hita. Sorry Hita!

Secondly, these photos came from random photos I've been saving in my computer for the last few months and I totally forgot where they all came from. I've been having to scrounge around for photos because for some reason my computer has gone mad and it won't let me go to weheartit.com...oh well...
xoxo,
Micaela

Glitter Words

romance.

I love you more than life itself,
But I'm afraid to love.

My heart is like fragile wings.

I'm scared to get too close,
For fear that I can't win.

I've lived so long on hopes and dreams,
I don't know what to do.
I don't think I can trust my heart,
For it belongs to you.

I know you'll only hurt me,
Yet, I still keep running back.

There's a worn beaten track
Between the paths of our hearts.

I can only hope that someday,
Someday you'll wake up and find,
My heart belongs to yours,
And yours, too belongs to mine.

Photos taken from random blogs that I am too lazy to write all down.

Also, I received this gorgeous little award from Hila:

It is so adorable and cute!
I will now do the honor of passing it on to:
~Thumbelina (now that she's back!)

I also received this award from Susanna-Cole:
thanks, girl meets nyc.
I'll pass this one on to:

Gosh. All these awards are coming at such a surprise. Thanks everyone who gave me awards for these lovelies and everyone else who comments, thanks a bunch. You guys are seriously the only thing that keeps me continuing to blog. I have also created an email for you guys to email me with any questions, comments, suggestions, anything. It's: thedrifterandthegyspsy@yahoo.com. I hope to be getting mail from you!

title-less.

"At the end of the day faith is a funny thing. It turns up when you don't really expect it. It's like one day you realize that the fairy tale may be slightly different than you dreamed. The castle, well, it may not be a castle. And it's not so important happy ever after, just that its happy right now. See once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you, and once in a while people may even take your breath away."

"At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That's how we're made. So, you can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them. But there are some lines that are way too dangerous to cross."
"You know how when you were a little kid and you believed in fairy tales, that fantasy of what your life would be, white dress, prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill. You would lie in bed at night and close your eyes and you had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Prince Charming, they were so close you could taste them, but eventually you grow up, one day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears. Most people turn to the things and people they can trust. But the thing is its hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely cause almost everyone has the smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true."
"Maybe we're not supposed to be happy. Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy. Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate."
"The fantasy is simple. Pleasure is good. And twice as much pleasure is better. That pain is bad. And no pain is better. But the reality is different. The reality is that pain is there to tell us something. And there is only so much pleasure we can take without getting a stomachache. And maybe that's okay. Maybe some fantasies are only supposed to live in our dreams."
