Oswald Smith já dizia que “a morte de Jesus é tão essencial para a fé cristã que se você pregar a Bíblia, mas não chegar na cruz, você ainda.

BEHIND THE SCENES: Anthropologie
A few months ago, the San Francisco Anthropologie Visual Team invited me to their store for a little behind the scenes sneak peak of the putting together of their Autumn window display. Of course I said yes and of course I brought my camera, so here's a little behind the scenes look at what goes into installing Anthropologie's new window displays.
First off, all of Anthropologie's installations/displays are handmade, so a lot of the process is devoted to thinking, "Okay, we have an idea, now how are we going to execute it, what materials are we going to use, etc." This particular window display involved wooden oars, buoys, and a wooden boat.
The wood for the oars was purchased at a hardware store and the Anthropologie crew had to cut and nail the pieces together to create the oar. After that, they had to paint the oars.

Hope you enjoyed the little behind the scenes look at Anthropologie. And a special thank you to the SF Anthropologie Visual Team for inviting me out for the visit! I think I know where I want to work in a few years... :)
